Do your homework:

  • Gather a folder of notes, photos, and ideas that you have collected. Its a good idea to have a basic style in mind prior to a meeting, but even if you don't we can give you lots of ideas on the different styles and cabinet types that are available. We can also provide brochures that you can take with you if you need more resources to make up your mind.

  • You can take a current picture of your kitchen and bring that with you. That often becomes the most helpful tool when were trying to visualize your exact plan for the kitchen. Cabinet design is NOT all we do. Again, We are a full cabinet manufacture.

Get family input and wish lists:

  • It is important to take everyone's ideas into consideration when building or remodeling a new kitchen, since the whole family will be living with the finished product for years to come. Find out what those hidden desires are before you start. You may be surprised to learn that your kids would love to do the dishes if they only had a bigger sink!

Come up with a budget you can live with:

  • A great new kitchen doesn't have to break the bank. You can start small, or go all the way, but before you start get a handle on just how much you are willing to spend. This will set the tone for our designers to choose cabinet type, materials, or even a layout.  Don't think that you can't afford that new remodel until you take a look at all the options. We can help with any budget!

Sketch your current kitchen layout and take measurements:

  • You don't have to get the measurements exactly perfect. Before we custom build your cabinets in house, we send a professional to your home and take a complete set of measurements. But it is good to have a rough idea of the dimensions and shape of the room to get started on a basic floor plan, and to help our designer come up with ideas for layout, form, and function.

Call to make an appointment, or stop into our shop:

  • It's always a good idea to call ahead for an appointment.

  • We want to give you our undivided attention when we meet to discuss your project. So if you'd rather not wait for someone to meet with you, please call us directly.

  • We will be glad to show you the samples in our shop, explain the different cabinet and material options, look at your sketches, and even come to your home.

We will review and assist you in establishing a budget:

  • If you have already developed your budget we can work within it. If you know what you want, we can make some notes and come up with the total cost, as well as some options.

We will discuss your portfolio of ideas:

  • Feel free to bring as much support material to your appointment as you want. We have worked with clients who bring an entire library, as well as people who come in without any ideas at all. Either way, we want to make your dreams a reality.

We will discuss your floor plan & go over some design ideas:

  • You'd be surprised at some of the innovative design ideas that are available. From hidden refrigerators in a drawer, to stoves that vent through the floor, to tiered drawers for twice as much storage, there are lots of options these days that you may never have known existed. Cabinet design is NOT all we do. Again, We are a full cabinet manufacture.
